Passing Of Local Firefighter/Paramedic

Timothy J. Larkin of Phoenixville Timothy J. Larkin, 21, of Phoenixville and formerly of Downingtown, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2012. Born in West Chester, he was the beloved son of Kevin J. and Maureen A. McKeown Larkin of Downingtown.

He was a 2009 graduate of Downingtown East and received his associate degree from Delaware County Community College. Tim had worked as a paramedic for Malvern Fire Company since August of last year. He was also a member of Alert Fire Company, Good Fellowship Ambulance Club, and the FDNY Vikings.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Tara E. Larkin of Phoenixville; maternal grandparents, Lillian and Frederick McKeown of Sarasota, Fla; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, at St. Joseph Church, 338 Manor Ave., Downingtown.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 1st, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, and from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, at the church. Interment will be in Northwood Cemetery, Downingtown.
