By Honey Brook Fire Company #1
April 22, 2013

The Officers and members of the Honey Brook Fire Company offer our thoughts and prayers to the members of the Wagontown Fire company on the passing of their Fire Polcie Captain Percy Trumbowwer. Percy was a member of the Honey Brook Fire Company at one time and was always seen with a smile on his face and willing to help out in anything he could.

Information from Wagontown Fire COmpany's website:

It is with deep regret the Wagontown Fire Company announces the passing of Fire Police Captain Percy Trumbower. Captain Trumbower passed away following complications of a heart attack sustained last month.

At the time of his death, Captain Trumbower held the position of Fire Police Captain, Wildland Firefighter with the Brandywine Creek Forest Fire Crew, and Sr. Rescue Boat Pilot, all operating out of the Wagontown Fire Company. Throughout his volunteer career, Captain Trumbower was a very valued and long time member of not only the Wagontown Fire Company but of several Emergency Services organizations across the Western Chester County region. His dedication and devotion to all the organizations will be sorely missed.
