Route 10 Rescue Assist

Around 1330 hours, Rescue 33 was alerted to assist Station 35 (Wagontown) with an automobile accident that was upgraded to reported entrapment.Chief 35 arrived and confirmed the report of one trapped in the overturned vehicle and established the Route 10 Command.
Rescue 35 arrived next with Ambulance 144 and the crew went to work stabilizing the vehicle. Rescue 33 arrived next with their crew assisting the crew from Rescue 35 with the extrication. Engine 35 and Medic 93 arrived and the engine crew established a fire suppression branch in case it was needed.
Crews worked together to extricate the driver in 18 minutes after arrival completing a roof flap despite the frigid temperatures outside.
The patient was transported to a local trauma center.
