Truck fire in Cambridge

At 4:18 PM on Saturday, May 16, Station 33 and Ambulance 189 were dispatched to the intersection of Main and Broad Streets in the Cambridge section of Salisbury Township for a truck fire.
Responding units were advised of a pickup truck on fire at the location.
Ambulance 189-3 arrived on the scene with an engine compartment fire in a pickup. The fire was knocked down by neighbors with several fire extinguishers, but still had some smoldering parts on the motor.
Engine 33-1 arrived soon after and deployed a front bumper line to further extinguish the fire.

The engine compartment fire was knocked down with several extinguishers prior to the Fire Department arrival
Engine 33-1 deployed its front bumper line to further extinguish the fire, while Ambulance 189-3 blocked the other lane of the street to protect the crews from traffic.
