Trash Fire on Pequea Avenue

At 4:06 PM on Monday, September 28, Station 33, along with units from White Horse Fire, Twin Valley Fire, Garden Spot Fire, and Elverson-Honey Brook EMS, were dispatched to the 1600 block of Walnut Road in Honey Brook Township for a barn fire.
Chester County 911 reported a caller calling from Walnut Road stating that she could see flames from a small barn to the rear of the reported address. Ambulance 189-3 arrived in the area and reported an apparent trash fire on a farm, and that best access would be off of Pequea Avenue.
Units from Station 33 arrived on scene and confirmed the report from EMS, and cancelled the mutual aid units.
The trash fire was extinguished, and 33 units returned to quarters.
