Early Morning House Fire

At 2:01 AM on Sunday, February 5, Station 33 was dispatched along with the Twin Valley Fire Department(Station 69), the Lionville Fire Company for RIT(Station 47), and the Elverson-Honey Brook EMS(Station 189) to a house fire in the 200 block of Merwood Drive in the Mountain View section of Honey Brook Township.
Chester County Fire Radio reported a single call from a passerby reporting flames from the side of the home.
Units arrived at an unoccupied two-story home under construction, with fire in the first floor and basement with some extension to the second floor. Crews from Stations 69 & 33 worked together to bring the incident under control.
The final units cleared the scene at 3:50 AM. The incident was under investigation by the Chester County Fire Marshals Office.
