Total of four calls for Station 33 yesterday

1–08:34 Engine 33-1 (crew-6) covered a standby for Coatesville City (@ West End Station 43) for four hours while they operated at Modena’s working house fire.

2–18:13 Rescue 33 ( crew 6) Engine 33-1 (crew 6) and Squad 33 (crew 5) responded to the Tornado event in Morgantown (Berks County) . Initially dispatched to 1411 Lexington Way ( behind Turnpike Chevy & Sheetz) for a residential rescue with entrapment. Engine 33-1 was diverted enroute to Pennwood development for structurally damaged houses on Quarry View Drive . Crews stayed in the area until 21:45 West Whiteland (Exton) covered the Honey Brook local with Engine 6-2 until our return at 22:00

3– Station 33 Fire Police unit responded as part of the Fire Police Task Force to direct traffic and provide scene security

4–22:05. Within minutes after return to station, 33 was alerted to a structure fire at 105 Morview Blvd in Morgantown. Tanker/ Engine 33-5 (crew 6); Engine 33-1 ( crew 5) responded within 30 seconds. Thankfully the report was unfounded and volunteers got some rest the remainder of the evening.
