Yesterday Honey Brook Fire Company went to visit with the summer camp kids at Honey Brook Township program held at the Elementary School. We discussed home fire drills, smoke detectors, and fire ext. The kids had the chance to wear a Firefighter helmet and climb through the crew compartment, and sit in the driver and officers seat. They looked at each compartment and the equipment carried on Engine 33-1. At the end of the visit each child received a carry bag with crayons, fire safety tips, fire truck trading cards.
