Our 2008 Fire Company fund drive is now in the mail! The Honey Brook Fire Company relies strongly on donations from the community through mailings, fundraisers, etc. to staff the career/volunteer EMS and provide the 100% volunteer fire protection to the over 8000 residents of Honey Brook Borough, Honey Brook Township, and parts of Salisbury and Caernarvon Townships. With the cost to operate so very high, the volunteers are having to take more and more time away from their families and fire/ems training to work these fundraisers. Even things like the rising cost of fuel alone is costing the fire company thousands of dollars to protect its residents. We are reaching out to the community for its support. With a large percent of our income from fundraising going toward the everyday bills like fuel, insurance, building and property upkeep, (just to name a few) there is very little money left for such necessities as apparatus, fire gear, tools, training, etc. Please help to support the people who protect you, your home, and your loved ones at any time of the day or night. We can't do it without you! If you would like to donate, please feel free to stop by the firehouse on Monday nights, call 610-273-2688, or send check to: Honey Brook Fire Company 679 Firehouse Lane PO Box 408 Honey Brook, PA 19344 All donations are tax deductable! - A paid fire company with 5 people costs taxpayers approximately $900,000 per year to operate.
- We have 6 fire apparatus that are staffed 24hours a day, 7 days a week by volunteers at no cost to you
- Our members are trained to the same, if not higher level as paid firefighters
