Joint Training With East Brandywine Fire Company

Working Structure Fire in West Caln Township

HBFC, April 16

At 19:39 last evening, Station 33 was dispatched full-company to assist the Wagontown Fire Company (35) for a reported garage fire in West Caln Township. Initial reports stated a detached garage on fire, with exposure to the dwelling. It was a busy day for the Honey Brook Volunteers, handling four emergency calls along with our semi-annual chicken bbq fundraising event. Engine & Rescue Assist in West Caln

HBFC, April 11

At 03:44 this morning, Station 33 was alerted to assist Station 35 (Wagontown) for a reported garage fire on the 700 block of W. Kings Highway, in West Caln Township. First arriving 35 units had fire showing from a large detached garage. Engine 35 arrived and laid a 5" supply line from the end of the driveway to the scene and initiated the fire attack. HBFC, April 10

At 05:20 this morning, Station 33 was alerted for a reported brush fire on the 600 block of Beaver Dam Rd, in Honey Brook Township. Brush 33 arrived to find a large pile of heavy timbers going off of Streamfield Ln. and requested an additional tanker to the scene. Weekly Training Continues at HBFC

HBFC, March 26

Weekly training continued on Monday evening, this time at the Chester County Public Safety Training Center. Ten members participated in the "Pressurized Water Can Firefighting" course, which focused on utilization of the 2.5 gallon water can.
