The Honey Brook Fire Company is proud to announce that we have re-acquired Retired Engine 33-1, a 1970 International/Hahn pumper. This was made possible last month thanks to a local collector who was looking to downsize his collection. The Company decided to mark the special occasion this past Saturday morning, by coming together and enjoying some comradery over coffee and breakfast.

Retired Engine 33-1 was delivered to the HBFC in January of 1971, and was later refurbished by Pierce Manufacturing in 1987. Equipped with a 500-gallon water tank and a 1250 gallon per minute pump, 33-1 served primarily as a water supply engine and was the first diesel owned by the Company. Known as a "work horse" 33-1 faithfully served our community for nearly 35 years. The Honey Brook Fire Company is committed to preserving not only our organization's history, but the history of the fire service as well. Retired Engine 33-1 along with other HBFC historical artifacts such as our 1893 hose carts will proudly be on display at the Firehouse for years to come.
