At 10:22 on Friday morning, Station 33 was alerted to assist Co. 8 (KVFD) on the 500 Block of Butternut Drive in West Sadsbury for a reported house fire. Rescue 33 with a crew of six and Engine 33-5 with a crew of four made the response. Ambulance 8-2 and Deputy 8 arrived to find fire showing from the (A) side of a two-story dwelling, Deputy 8 requested the WFD and established command. Fortunately, first arriving units and PD made a quick knock on the fire and the incident was placed under control a short time later. 33 units assisted with ventilation, wash-down, and overhaul efforts before clearing the scene.
