Just after midnight on Wednesday following another round of severe weather, Honey Brook units along with Micu-931 were alerted to the intersection of Birdell and Beaver Dam in Honey Brook Township for a water rescue. Chief 33 responded and was advised of one vehicle in the water and that the 911-caller was unable to make contact with the vehicles operator. Boat 33, Utility 33, and Rescue 33 made the response with 8 water rescue technicians. Chief 33 arrived and confirmed one vehicle in the water and that it was unknown if it was occupied. The water rescue team deployed the inflatable raft made their way to the stranded vehicle, confirming it was unoccupied. Crews briefly searched the area before exiting the water. Fortunately, contact was made via cell phone with the operator confirming their safety. 33 Fire police units placed barricades at the intersection to close off the roadway.

Chief 33 and Engine 33-1 would later handle a CO alarm activation shortly after returning the Station from this incident. The Honey Brook Fire Co. #1 would like to remind everyone to "Turn around, don't drown" when encountering flooded roadways.
