At 23:00 hrs on Saturday evening, the Honey Brook Fire Co. #1 along with EMS were dispatched to the 1000 BLK of S. Birdell Road in Honey Brook Township for an MVA reported with entrapment. Rescue 33 arrived to find one vehicle overturned, and confirmed its operator was trapped. Crews stabilized the vehicle, executed a “roof flap” and safely extricated the patient in only a matter of minutes. EMS transported one patient to a local area hospital. Fire Police units from 33 and 35 (Wagontown) shut down S. Birdell Rd. for several hours until the roadway could be cleared and reopened again. We’d like to thank our partners at the Wagontown Fire Co, EHBEMS, Tower Health, Honey Brook Twp, PSPE, and West Caln Twp PD for their assistance with this incident.

Assistant 33 held the S. Birdell Road Command. The Honey Brook Volunteers have handled twenty calls for service over the last six days.
