On Monday March 13, 2012 during the monthly meeting of the Honey Brook Fire Company Fire Police Officer Joseph Gable was recognized for his 72 years of active service to the Honey Brook Fire Company. Deputy Fire Chief Klinger presented Joe with a Citation and a personal letter from State Senator Mike Brubaker commending Joe for his lengthy service and the impact he has had on not only the fire company but also the Honey Brook community.

Joe joined the Honey Brook Fire Company in 1941 and was shortly called upon to serve in the US Navy in WWII on a surface warship. After returning Joe continued to be active in the Fire Company at many fundraising events and fire calls. Joe continues to this day be an active Fire Police Officer and can often be seen at our fundraising events helping out with a smile on his face.

Joe the members of the Honey Brook Fire Company once again want to say thank you for all you hard work over these many, many years.
