Engine & Rescue Assist Coatesville on 4 Alarm Fire
By Deputy Fire Chief Robert Klinger, Jr.
June 6, 2012
At 1716 hours, the Honey Brook Fire Company was alerted for one engine to relocate to the East Brandywine Fire Company (Station 49) while they operated in the City of Coatesville on the multi-alarm row home fire. While enroute to Station 49, Coates Street Command (Lentz) requested a 3rd alarm assignment. Engine 33-2 was redirected to the scene to assist. Shortly after Rescue 33 was dispatched to assist as well.
Crews assisted in the final operations of suppression and the overhaul work that followed. The last Honey Brook crews were released shortly after 2000 hours.
