Earlier Friday morning crews met at the firehouse to begin the equipment checks on Engine 33-1 and Traffic 33 before beginning the long drive to relocate to York County Station 18 (Goodwill). Honey Brook crews were part of a multiple county effort to cover southern York County throughout the day while many departments attended the funeral services for Chief Rodney Miller of the Loganville Fire Company. Chief Miller was killed while operating at a motor vehicle accident and a drunk drive struck him resulting in his death.

During the 15 hour standby crews handled one automatic fire alarm which proofed to be a false alarm.

Honey Brook units returned shortly after 11pm.
