At lunchtime on Wednesday, July 30, WIOV-FM (105.1) visited Station 33 as part of the WIOV's "Dog Days of Summer lunch break" promotion. Morning DJ "Murf" was on hand to meet those who stopped by and signed autographs. Free Kunzler hot dogs and Sonic water were given out to listeners whom stopped by.

The fire company also gave out fire prevention materials and gave tours of the apparatus.
