Barn Fire- Cambridge Road

This afternoon at 12:26 hrs Honey Brook was alerted to a structure fire (barn) in 2800 block of Cambridge Road- Honey Brook Township. The entire fleet from Honey Brook responded with Engine 33-1, Engine 33-5, Rescue 33, Squad 33, Fire Police 33 , and Brush 33.

Lancaster County units:
Caernarvon Fire Company-Engine and Tanker
Weaverland Valley Fire-Engine and Tanker
White Horse Fire -Tanker

Chester County Mutual Aid units:
Sadsburyville Fire Company- Engine for RIT
East Brandywine Fire Company with Ladder, Engine and Tanker

First arriving Engine 33-1 laid 1400 feet of 5”Large Diameter Hose in the driveway and encountered heavy smoke from a large Tobacco barn. Engine 33-5 picked up the supply line and staged at Cambridge & Mill Road. Crews attacked the fire and held the fire to one end of the structure. Units were in service for 1 hour and 38 minutes
