Busy Sunday for Honey Brook Volunteers

The Honey Brook Fire Company responded to a total of 5 calls. The calls started just after 11 A.M. for a brush fire off of Chestnut Tree Rd, which was quickly extinguished with help from the Glenmore Fire Company (48), and Twin Valley Fire Department (69). This was followed by an engine relocate to our neighbors at Glenmore Fire Company (48) while they operated on a fire, while Engine 33-1 was en-route they were alerted to Barneston Rd for an outdoor investigation and found a controlled burn under control so they continued to station 48. During the relocate Engine 33-5, and Brush 33 were dispatched to Hill Rd to assist Wagontown Fire Company (35) on a brush fire, once clear of the relocate Engine 33-1 also responded. Finally just before 8 P.M. the company was alerted for a relocate to the Modena Fire Company (37) while they and multiple other units operated on a multi alarm fire in Modena's territory, Engine 33-1 stood-by in Modena till around 3 A.M.
