At 09:43 PM Rescue 33 and Squad 33 responded to a search for a suspected ultralight plane crash near Brandywine Hospital, West Brandywine Twp/ Caln Twp on Monday evening Sept 21st. Thirteen members assisted for several hours until early Tuesday morning.
As it turned out, the pilot had landed safely and until the next morning, did not realize crews were searching for him. He then called authorities and indicated that rumors of his demise were unfounded.
