Busy Tuesday night for Honey Brook

At 2027 hrs Honey Brook Engine 33-1 and East Brandywine Ladder 49 was dispatched to cover Minquas - Downingtown Station 46 for standby duty.

46 and numerous other Chester County companies (Downingtown(45 & 46) West Bradford (39), Lionville (47),Thorndale (38), West Whiteland(6) & First West Chester (51) were battling a stubborn trash fire inside Champion Recycling at 565 Trestle Place(East Caln Township).

While entering Downingtown 33, 49, & 37 were redirected to the fire scene to relieve hose line crews. Honey Brook was released at 2145 hrs.

Meanwhile, back in the Honey Brook area another emergency occured & kept the rest of the 33 crew busy.

At 2119 hrs Honey Brook was alerted to assist Wagontown for a building fire in the 700 block of Lammey Road (West Caln Township).

Wagontown, Honey Brook, Sadsburyville, Coatesville- Ladder 41, Westwood and Lanco-White Horse Fire Departments made the response.

The fire was discovered to be a trash/ brush fire at 155 Moran Lane. Units were on scene for thirty minutes.
