Yesterday at 1708 hours fire box 3526 was alerted to the 300 block of Hill Rd in West Caln Township for a mobile home fire. This brought two engines and the rescue from the Honey Brook Fire Company to assist Station 35 (Wagontown). Chief 33 was first arriving and reported a single wide mobile home fully involved. Engine 33-1 arrived and took the first due engine assignment, laying 800’ of 5” supply line down the driveway. Crews deployed multiple 1.75” hand lines to attack the fire. Engine 33-5 had water supply operations at the end of the drive way and was fed by Engine 35 from a hydrant. Rescue 33 assumed the RIT assignment. Crews were onscene for an extended period of time with extensive overhaul. Twenty five Honey Brook volunteers responded to this fire.
