Yesterday afternoon at 4:22pm Lancaster County Wide Communications struck the pre-alert for a building fire on the 6000 block of Wertztown Road in Salisbury Township. This brought the full company from the Honey Brook Fire Company to assist the White Horse Fire Company. Deputy 34 (Fisher) arrived and reported a 12x20 garage fully involved. Deputy 34 assumed command 49. Engine 33-1 responded with 6 and arrived first. Crews pulled multiple 1.75" handlines to extinguish the fire. Engine 33-5 arrived and assisted with water supply operations. Rescue 33 assisted with overhaul. Honey Brook units were on location for a little over an hour.
