On Monday Dec.19 five Honey Brook firefighters completed the second portion of the Chester County Flashover Recognition and Survival class. Night two of this 8 hour class consists of hands on live fire training where personnel in accompany of certified instructors enter a container designed to create simulated flashover fire conditions. This training provides responders with knowledge to better understand the stages of fire growth and how to recognized life threatening changes to interior conditions while performing fire attack operations.

HBFC would like to thank the Modena Fire Company for hosting and extending this training opportunity to our members
