Southern End Relocate

Today at 1300 hours Engine 33-5 was dispatched to relocate to the Union Fire Company No.1 of Oxford. Numerous southern Chester and Lancaster County fire companies were battling a two alarm barn fire in Colerain Township, Lancaster County. Engine 33-5 responded with a crew of six and arrived at Station 21 at 1349 hours. At 1450 Hours Engine 33-5 was dispatched along with Engine 37-2 who was also on standby at Station 21 for a chimney fire on the 300 block of Mount Pleasant Road in East Nottingham Township. Engine 37-2 was first arriving confirmed an active chimney fire. Engine 33-5 assisted with cleaning out the fire box and checking all floors of the dwelling for any extension. The incident was quickly placed under control. Engine 33-5 cleared the scene at 1537 hours and made the trip back to Honey Brook due to 21 units on the barn fire going available.
