Working Dwelling Fire Box 3308
By HBFC
February 13, 2023
At 0132 this morning, Station 33 along with numerous mutual aid companies were dispatched to the 700 block of Talbotville Rd. in Honey Brook Township for a Dwelling. Within minutes of dispatch, Deputy 33, Engine 33-1, and Engine 33-5 responded.
Deputy 33 arrived to find a mobile home with smoke showing, and quickly requested the working fire dispatch. A 360 of the home revealed fire showing from the (C) side of the structure. Engine 33-1 assumed the role of first-due engine, laying 5" LDH from the end of the driveway to the fire scene, and stretched (2) 1.75" crosslays to attack the fire. Once inside, crews quickly located and extinguished the fire, completed a primary search, and began to open up and check for extension. Engine 33-5 arrived next, picking up the LDH at the end of the driveway, supplying Engine 33-1. Crews were on scene for roughly three hours.
We'd like to thank the White Horse Fire Co. for standing by at our station while we operated at this incident.
