Crews Keep Small Fire In Check
By HBFC
April 8, 2023
At 0339 this morning, Station 33 along with mutual aid were dispatched to the 1000 block of Twin County Road, Honey Brook Township for a House Fire. Deputy 33 arrived to find nothing showing from the residence while Engine 33-1 assumed the first due engine assignment, laying 700’ of LDH to the fire scene. Interior crews found a smoke condition inside the residence with no visible fire. Utilizing a thermal imaging camera, a hot-spot was visible on the side (C) wall. Simultaneously, exterior crews located and extinguished an exterior fire on the (C) side. After opening up the wall, a small fire was also found and extinguished. Crews operated for an hour and a half before clearing the scene. A special thank you to our mutual aid companies, as well as Lancaster Engine 301 for standing by at our station. This was the third fire of the week for Honey Brook Volunteers.
