Congratulations to FF's Brooks and Waltman

The Honey Brook Fire Co. #1 would like to congratulate Austin Brooks and Preston Waltman for graduating from Chester County's Fire Fighter 1 program. This is an intense 12-week program that challenges the recruit both physically and mentally with over 200 hours of classroom and practical training. During this time they've earned their Pennsylvania State Fire Academy, "Introduction to the Fire Service (ELIS)", "Fire Ground Support (ELFG)", "Exterior Firefighter (ELEF)" and "Interior Firefighter with Live Fire (ELIF)" certificates. Additional certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Hazardous Materials were also earned. Both of these young men show great potential and will serve our community well for years to come.
