On the evening of 9/21 at 22:44 hours, members were notified of a barn fire on the 1800 block of N. Churchtown Road, in Caernarvon Township, Lancaster County. Honey Brook personnel were still on station after clearing an earlier accident, and responded in Engine 33-5 before dispatch. First arriving units found a working fire in the garage section of a large dairy barn, which had been converted to apartment units. Engine 33-5 arrived and assisted interior crews with opening up and overhaul. Fortunately, the fire was held to its place of origin with little extension.
