Fire Prevention Activities in Full-Swing
By HBFC
October 11, 2023
October is Fire Prevention Month, and the Honey Brook Fire Company has been busy participating in fire prevention activities across our community. On Tuesday, Rescue 33 & Engine 33-1 visited the Honey Brook Elementary School and delivered a fire safety presentation. Students and faculty learned about our apparatus and equipment, the importance of dialing 911, what to do in the event of a fire, and other safety tips.
Earlier today, the Honey Brook Early Learning Center visited Station 33 for a tour and our fire safety presentation led by Chaplain York. Throughout the month of October, the Honey Brook Fire Company will continue to visit local daycares and schools to spread our fire prevention and safety message.
Fire safety education isn't just for children, it's for all members of our community. Please follow the link below for more information on Fire Prevention Month, and tips to keep you and your family safe: https://www.nfpa.org/Events/Events/Fire-Prevention-Week/About
