At 17:40 hours last evening, the Honey Brook Fire Company was dispatched to assist Lancaster Station 49 (White Horse) for a reported Garage Fire on the 6000 block of Ross Rd. in Salisbury Township, Lancaster County. Chief 33 and Engine 33-1 both responded within 1-minute of dispatch. Chief 33 arrived to find a two-story, detached garage fully involved. Engines 33-1 and 33-5 assumed first and second due engine responsibilities and worked in conjunction with crews from Lancaster 49 to extinguish the fire. Honey Brook units operated for roughly 2.5 hours before returning. We'd like to thank the East Brandywine Fire Company for covering our local while we worked this fire. |
