Five HBFC Members Complete Vehicle Rescue Training

The Honey Brook Fire Company #1 is pleased to announce that five firefighters have completed the PA Joint Rescue Program-Basic Vehicle Rescue course. This 44-hour accelerated course was held at the Chester County Public Safety Training Campus, and completed in just two weeks time. Course topics included incident management; tools/equipment; vehicle anatomy/design; hazard control, patient access, care, and packaging; disentanglement; extrication and termination.
These firefighters will receive the following certifications, and add to the vehicle rescue capabilities of the HBFC:
-Pennsylvania State Fire Academy, Pennsylvania Department of Health Vehicle Joint Rescue Program, Vehicle Rescue Awareness (NVRA) and Vehicle Rescue Operations (NVRO) certifications.
We'd like to thank these promising young men for their hard work, dedication, and sacrifice required to complete a course such as this. Please join us in congratulating them on their achievement.
