HBFC Training - Crews Tour the Honey Brook Quarry

Last evening, 25 members of the Honey Brook Fire Company traveled to the New Enterprise Quarry located in Honey Brook Township for our weekly drill night. Crews met with Quarry Superintendent George L. Zimmerman of NESL who conducted a walking tour of the property along with a Q&A. This gave Honey Brook Personnel a unique and valuable opportunity to familiarize ourselves with their facility, operations, and some of the inherit dangers and hazards that are present. Trainings such as these allow us to review our procedures and gives us the knowledge necessary to provide the best services possible in the event of an emergency.
