By HBFC
May 14, 2025
At 03:28 this morning, the Honey Brook Fire Company along with Ambulance 189-1 were dispatched to the 5200 block of Horseshoe Pike in the Township for an auto accident with unknown injuries. Prior to responding, the Chester County Fireboard received additional information stating that the vehicle's operator was trapped, and the assignment was upgraded. Chief 33 arrived and established command while EMS was able to gain access to the patient. Crews swiftly removed the patient from the vehicle who was packaged and transported to a local area hospital. 33 Fire Police units handled traffic control for the incident, with all crews clearing the scene roughly 2.5 hours later. Honey Brook units would handle another vehicle accident in the Township and a medical assist in the Borough later that morning.
