HBFC Hosts Annual Rural Water Movement Drill
By HBFC
August 26, 2025
Last evening, the HBFC hosted our annual rural water movement drill with neighboring agencies. This year, the drill took place on Stoltzfus Lane in Honey Brook Township, where the scenario required over 3,800’ of LDH to supply the “fire ground”. The simulated box alarm demonstrated the effectiveness of pre-planning, communication, and execution that’s required to successfully establish and maintain a water supply in this extreme scenario. Once again we’d like to thank our mutual aid partners for taking the time to participate in this annual drill, as the experience and lessons learned from these types of trainings are invaluable.
