By HBFC
December 2, 2025

It was a busy Tuesday morning for the 33 house, as the season's first round of winter weather moved in across the region. At 08:21 hours, the HBFC was alerted to assist Company 35 (Wagontown) in the area of Compass Road and Leary Road in West Caln for an auto accident reported with injuries. Assistant 33, Rescue 33, and Traffic 33 made the response. Assistant 33 arrived to find two vehicles involved, with one on it's roof and established the Compass Road Command. Personnel from R33 assisted with patient care and hazard control while fire police units from 33 and 35 controlled traffic. One patient was transported to an area hospital.

Just before clearing the the MVA, Station 33 was alerted to the intersection of Compass Road and Beaver Dam Road in Honey Brook Township for traffic control following an accident. 33 fire police units responded and controlled traffic for PSPE until the roadway could be re-opened.

At 10:41, Station 33 was again alerted, this time to assist Company 69 for a reported mobile home fire on the 100 block of Bollinger Road, in West Nantmeal Township. Assistant 33, Chief 33, Engine 33-5, and Rescue 33 all made the response. Engine 69-1, Chief 69 and AST-33 arrived to find a 15' camper involved with an exposure to a large outbuilding. Engine 33-5 arrived as the 3rd due engine and assisted with suppression and overhaul. Fortunately, there was minimal damage to the exposure building, and the fire was placed under control at 11:07. Honey Brook units operated for roughly one hour before returning available, Chief 69 held the Bollinger road Command.
