Truck Company Training Continues to Progress
By HBFC
June 20, 2026
HBFC personnel have been conducting extensive training over the last few months, focusing heavily on the integration of Ladder 33 into our operations. Training Officers Captain Stoltzfus and Lt. Riehl, along with Past Chief's Kern and Whitman, have constructed and in-house program consisting of aerial operator training, truck company operations, and countless live "run-in" scenarios for the first due engine and truck. Utilizing the Chester County Public Safety Training Center, as well as our first-due coverage area, crews have already dedicated several hundred hours to this effort. With final preparations taking place in conjunction with this training program, the HBFC is targeting an "in-service" date later this summer for Ladder 33.
