Water Rescue Response to Upper Uwchlan
By HBFC
July 5, 2026
The HBFC ran several emergencies on the 4th of July, following a strong storm that impacted our area. Shorty after 8:00pm on Saturday evening, the Lionville Fire Company (47) was dispatched to the Marsh Creek State Park, in Upper Uwchlan Township for a reported water rescue. Honey Brook units were on-station after returning from an earlier incident, and quickly made the response following Chief 47’s request for additional resources to the scene.
Upon arrival, Boat-33 launched from the west boat ramp and conducted search and rescue operations in conjunction with 47, 49, 53, 77 and DCNR. Boat-33 operated on the water for roughly three hours before the conclusion of the operation shortly after midnight. Our thoughts are with those affected at this time.
