By Firefighter Dusten Nierintz
March 22, 2009
At 3:40pm Sunday afternoon, the Honey Brook Fire Company was dispatched for Engine 33-5 to assist Station 34 (Martin's Corner) on a working dwelling fire in West Brandywine Township. Engine 33-5 quickly made the response with 6 volunteers. Once Engine 33-5 arrived onscene the crew proceeded up the long driveway to assist with fire suppression and also assisted with water supply. Once the fire was out crews went to work doing extensive overhaul with the help of a West Brandywine Township backhoe. Crews operated for about 4 hours before returning to home at 8pm.
