Ropes And Rigging Class
By Honey Brook Fire Company
December 16, 2009
Recently members from the Honey Brook, Martin's Corner and Wagontown Fire companies participated in a Ropes And Rigging class hosted by the Martin's Corner Fire Company and taught by instructors from the Chester County Training Academy. Class covered topics such as ropes, knots, accessories, lifting methods, harness usage, and pre-rigged setups. Crews met for 3 consecutive Wednesday evenings hearing lecture mixed with practical hands on scnario's. This training will used with equipment to be kept on Rescue 33 that was purchased through a PEMA grant. Thank you to Martin's Corner Fire Company for the invitation to train with you and to the instructors for sharing their knowledge with us.
