New building construction tour at Tel Hai
By Firefighter/EMT Christopher Eno
August 23, 2010
On the evening of Monday, August 23, crews loaded up in the apparatus and headed to the Tel Hai Retirement Community in Honey Brook Township to tour the new cottages under construction in the new Cedar Ridge section of the retirement community.
Upon arrival at Tel Hai, crews split into groups and toured the cottages that were in various stages of construction. Noted were the types of construction, the materials used in construction, and also the layouts of the rooms and utilities. Also discussed were various hazards that would be encountered during a fire.
Thank You to Tel Hai Retirement Community for allowing us to tour the cottages.
